UMI Direct was established in 1972 as Uniforms Manufacturing, Inc. At that time their primary customer consisted of the Federal Government, however over the next two decades UMI expanded its footprint to include City, County and State Agencies. It was this experience of supplying the Government's workforce that established their Firm as one of the most well respected distributors in their industry.
