We’ve recently set up a CouponChief Google Group at the suggestion of luv2deal (among others), where you can leave your feedback about site features, or discuss things you’d like to see on CouponChief.  We’ll monitor this group and keep you abreast of changes we’re making here to better serve the couponing community.

For starters, you can leave your feedback about the recent Trust Score changes here.

DOES THE NEW POLICY OF EACH USER ONLY BEING ABLE TO SUBMIT A TOTAL OF (3) COUPONS PER STORE APPLIES TO EVERYONE ?!?

posted by Coupon Chief   |   April 29th, 2009

Yes, the limit applies to every user. It’s another measure to improve the quality of coupons displayed to our coupon-users. You may also notice we’ve added the ability to delete coupons you’ve submitted directly from the store pages.

SUGGESTION- SINCE PEOPLE ARE MORE LIKELY TO USE COUPONS WITH EXPIRATION DATES WHY NOT ADD A OPTION ON THE CALENDAR THAT SAYS,”ONGOING” IF A COUPON IS ONGOING OR NEVER EXPIRES,THANKS.

This is a great thing that we can only get three codes in,it makes a lot of sense.I would wake up some mornings around 3 or 4 am to try to get some good codes in,but I could hardly get anything in.I was beginning to think that submitters were working with robots (lol)The next thing I am hoping for is that Coupon Chief will also block all the straight CAP letters in the comment sections.I have to admit I did that in the past in the description section and good thing the company blocked us from doing that.I didn’t realize how ridiculous that looked and I still see it happening. It looks like someone is screaming or mad at the United States of America. We got to cap it down.Great work CC!

I am learning more and more each day about coupons.I guess I should call myself “The Coupon Teacher”.(lol)I want to comment on some codes that may not work.If you see a coupon that says 30% off but when you use it,it only takes 15% off,it could be due to the company changes(notice messages you may receive before you post a coupon that says “this code may change at anytime or can cancel at anytime”.Another reason why some coupon codes may not seem like they work is because some websites require you to enter a credit card before the discount actually shows or some items may not be eligible for certain codes. Some codes may require a certain amount in order for the discount to apply.I even found out one site said a code I entered was invalid,so I added more items and then I got the discount. That was a little confusing because it should’ve read “your order does not meet the total amount requirement for this coupon”.So don’t give up on the coupon codes that says invalid, expired etc…you may be missing out on discount codes that actually work.Test the codes!!
